The path to a closer walk with the Lord Jesus Christ can only be accomplished by you learning how to pray, and to believe!!!!!!Luke 17:5
5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. Luke 11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. Our need of to day is still the same as the disciples, teach us to pray, and help us to believe.
(((The 1st work of grace))) Have you been born again and baptized? This is the indication that there are two distinct works of grace available for us all, John the Baptist came on the seen saying Repent, Matt 3:1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey. 5 Then went out to him Jerusalem, and all Judaea, and all the region round about Jordan, 6 And were baptized of him in Jordan, confessing their sins. This is absolutely necessary for anyone who wants to be born of the spirit, 1st you must repent, and 2nd you must confess, and 3rd if we fully repent, and fully confess, you must display these works of grace in your life and living, a complete change of life, declaring that the works, confession and repentance, are completed and there by qualifying you eligible for water baptism, thus indicating that you have submitted your life completely having been born of the Spirit, being signified by your submission to water baptism. More to come tomorrow. (((the 2nd work of grace)))
(((the 2nd work of grace))) Have you been Baptized with the Holy Ghost and Fire? (((Matt 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: 12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. 13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. 14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.))) Jesus had no sins to confess nor repent from, for he was without sin, and yet he needed to display, and be the first to have the endowment of the baptism of the holy spirit, (((Matt 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.))) Have you had your Pentecostal experience? Have you surrendered you entire life to the Lord Jesus Christ, have you confessed you need of baptism, have you prepared you heart and life for the baptism, is there any secret sin’s you are covering up? Have you spent days, seeking, is every little thing confessed, any lust? Any unforgiveness? Any bitterness? And division? Any anger? Any deceit? Any impatience? Any unbelief? Any self-will? Any greed? Any pride? Any laziness? Any lack of prayer? And lack of submission? Any lack of subjection to the will of God? Any tiny bit of resistance? Any selfishness? Any it’s me, me, me? Have you crucified your self-life? Are you dead to the world, and alive unto God? Has your faith increased? Has your capability of prayer been quickened? Can you pray effectual, fervent, righteous, prayers? Can you travail in prayer? (((Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.)))

Are you worried about dying within the next few days or weeks? Read than pray this prayer. Our Father, which art in Heaven. Heavenly Father I bow and humble my heart before you today, I am not worthy of what I am about to ask you for. But would you please extend your Grace unto me and forgive me of my multitude of Sins? I’ve been bad, I’ve done some wicked things, I don’t deserve any mercy, but I’m afraid to die, for I know I’m not prepared nor ready to die. I’ve disobeyed your word, I ignored the Holy Spirit speaking to me about my sins, bringing me under conviction for all of them. I’m so sorry that I’m ashamed even to approach you for Grace and Mercy. I don’t deserve pardon and forgiveness. But would you please, please hear my cry today, and would you please forgive me of my sins, and wash them all away by your precious blood? For I confess to you every sin that I can remember. My heart and mind was filled with lustful appetites, I’ve been angry and bitter, and it seems that I cannot forgive others, please help me to be able to forgive others like I’m asking you to forgive me. I’ve been deceitful for I told and lived lies. And my patience runs very thin at times. And I do really need help to believe that you love me more than I love my self. Please help me to die to all of my selfish desires plans and wishes. Help me to crucify all of my fleshy appetites and the roots of bitterness. Help me to stop steeling my tithes from you, and your time you have given to me to commune and pray with you, I’ve been quite selfish for it seems I always want to have my way in all things, and if not I turn bitter and angry saying unkind things. And that which I saw with my own eyes, caused me to crave for things that have ruined and polluted my soul’s desires, I lusted and desired to have, and yet I knew it was wrong. I coveted other people’s money, and possessions. I am greedy and wicked. I’m full of foolish pride. I’m so lazy I depend on others to take care of me and even do my praying for me. All of this brings me so under conviction that I wept and cried please forgive me. I really want to believe that Jesus died for my sins, and I sit here in wonder why someone would love me enough that they would give their lives for me. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Have you ever preached a sermon? You will probably say no. Well I beg to differ with you on that subject, First of all your life is preaching as you live according to the gospel teachings, you are the light of the world, the salt of the earth, and the children of God. So if your life is not living up to the expectations of real Christianity, you need to quit calling your self a Christian, or change your life by humbling your self and become a born again Child of Gods by being born of the spirit. For the word Christian means to be Christ like in character and conduct. If you really want to be effective in this life, you can help others find their way to God. You can learn and practice the true value of praying. You can and really do preach while you are praying for someone. Especially when you visit with them, before you leave them ask them if you can pray for them, and the majority of people will say yes, especially if they are in the Hospital, or nursing home, of closed in at their own homes. Most everyone loves to know that they are being thought about and being prayed for when they are facing some physical ailment. You can easily ask God to save them from their sins, and from themselves. And you can ask God to cleanse their hearts and make then pure, as well as asking God to heal them physically. They will not tell you to stop especially if there a real passion in your praying, because as you pray you are showing to them a Christ like spirit. Jesus does not want to see them lost, but he wants to save them as well as heal them, thus you become the mouth and heart of the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes you are preaching the Gospel as you pray!!!!! “Matt 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
As I sit in my office this morning, I humble myself before Jesus our Lord and Savior. I think of all of the troubles that He went through, of how he was tempted by Satan, and how he overcame, and how he told us that we could do the same. James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. He said resist the Devil and he will flee from you. In his community of work, He healed the sick, he cleansed the leper, He called to Himself and held the children, and used them to call us to humility, He told us that except we humble ourselves as a little child we have no inheritance in the kingdom of Heaven. He taught us submission and subjection to the will of God, as He prayed in the garden, He said if it be possible let this cup pass from Me, but if not, not My will but thine be done. He saw pilot wash his hands trying to wash the guilt of his sins away. He submitted Himself to persecution, humiliation, betrayal, and shame, as he was crucified on the old rugged Cross. And he displayed mightily the power of forgiveness, as He forgave those that has spit in his face, and those that buffeted (Punched) Him with their fists, and those that smote him with the palms of their hands, and he heard Peter deny that he ever knew Him as he and the other disciples walked away, and Pilot freed a condemned criminal called Barabbas. He saw the soldiers gamble for his clothing. He forgave one of the criminals that hung there with Him on the cross. And he looked down at the crowd that gathered around him, saying Father forgive them for they know not what they do. And he cried out it is finished and he gave up the Ghost as he died. So we might see our needs and ask for forgiveness for we all need to humble ourselves if we expect to make it into Heaven. Cast your earthly carnal attics aside and let Humility be alive and active with in your being!!!!!
What does it mean to be able to pray in the spirit? We would have to say that you have at least prayed once in the spirit when you got saved. For your connection to salvation is based on the idea of being born again or being born of the spirit. John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Than again if you have been sanctified or baptized with the Holy Ghost, and filled with the spirit, you have again prayed in the spirit. Matt 3:1111 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Therefore if you claim to be truly born again and truly baptized with the Holy Ghost, you have prayed in the spirit at least two times. We are to continue to pray in the Holy Ghost, building our faith because we are praying things to pass by faith and praying in the will of God. Jude 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, This incorporates the idea of praying with the anointing, and the unction, and praying in the Spirit. If you have done it two times already and you have reaped some of the benefits of praying in the Holy Spirit, so let us continually pray in the Holy Spirit and conjoin our will with the will of God and see much more can be accomplished for Him by praying. Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Is the thought of eternity worth more to you today than one day at a time? One day at a time is a come day, go day attitude, or a here today and gone tomorrow attitude, but eternity is forever. It is sad that most people do not even think about eternity. If you think about eternity you must consider Heaven or Hell, or we should say the lake of fire. For Hell shall be cast into the lake of fire, “Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.” We do not have to go through life with a state of mind that is wondering or thinking where am I going to spend my eternity? Let us think about what Jesus said, “John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” If you want to have the real hope of Heaven this is what you must do, you must be born again, be born of the spirit. You might ask yourself just like I did, what does it mean to be born again? It took me at least 6 months to find what I needed to have in order to have the hope of Heaven’s eternity. I started to pray like never before, I would ask the Lord Jesus as I prayed, I need to know what it means to be born again, for I am afraid to die without knowing. So day after day, and night after night, I cried as I kneeled down, and said please help me to find out what this really means. So my wife and I decided to do the unusual, we went to small country church on Sunday night on September 12 1971, and it was there that my heart and soul cried out to God, for God was in that service that night, and near the end of the service they ask if there was anyone that wanted to pray and ask God to forgive them of their sins, and before I knew it I was kneeling down at the alter crying out to God please forgive me of my sins, and in a few moments of praying if felt the burden of sin lift from my heat and life and I knew that my sins were forgiven, and I was born of the spirit!!!!!!!!!!!! Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!
If you are interested in my posts, I started on face book nine plus years ago, and you could do some research on things that I have said then and now, the message is still the same, ye must be born again, ye must clean up your lives, ye must commit and yield to the Lord Jesus Christ, ye must confess your sins, ye must be baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire. You must preach the gospel, not only with a clean life, but with a real passion to save a lost world, and you must learn and teach others how to pray, not by reciting the Lords prayer, but really praying the Lords prayer. You must experience the continual practice of praying through, by learning to travail for lost soul’s salvation. Your interests in helping others is God’s spirit working with in you, nurture that spirit of love and hope for those that have none. Become the Hands, the feet, the eyes, the ears, the mouth piece of the Lord Jesus Christ, sharing the hope that you have acquired, and the assurance of your faith, and your nearness to God and His kingdom of eternity called Heaven. Tell others over and over again that God loves them, and if we humble ourselves and receive the gift of real salvation, we will be able to love others just like Jesus did, and does then and now. Snuggle up close to Him let him infiltrate into your life and help him to save the world around you. Like and follow me on face book if you can, and I will try to continue posting on the web site www.thecalltoprayer.comLets stay connected and you can share my posts with your friends, thus you can preach to them through the post that I feel lead of God to put there. If you are interested I could come to your Church, and Preach, or Teach, you how to pray. There is a list of things that we should pray about every day on the last page of the web sight called “Learning to pray in the Spirit” God bless you and those that you want to help by sharing something interesting in the posts. Go to face book and search for Russell Snyder from Andreas Pa. my photo is from our 50th wedding anniversary. “””Good luck and God bless you all.”””
More and more people are becoming insecure because of the contagious disease’s that are floating around in the air. If you are afraid of catching one of them, and you are afraid to die. I want you to secure you faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. “Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Don’t panic, for if you have been born again, and your personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ is kept up to date, by your continual praying and adjusting of your life according to His word. Your life is secured for God’s plan and purpose, you might leave this world a little earlier than what you had thought or planned, but if you have received the gift of God’s Grace and His forgiveness you have secured your life with His eternal values, you are prepared to die and enter into His presence. This is exactly what the prophet Amos said. “Amos 4:12 Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.” If you are afraid to die, you have not yet prepared yourself for eternity. There is no other way to prepare yourself except through Jesus Christ. “Phil 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” If you are in need humble yourself, and confess your sins, repent because you are a sinner, and ask for the Grace of God to help you to hate your sins sufficiently enough so you will turn around, change you mind, and depart from all of your sinful habits. For your sins Jesus Died, and he was therefore crucified, He took your place, and extended His Grace, and He hoped that you would find your resting place, and when for mercy you do seek, the door will open with-out a doubt, out stretched arms than you will see, and then the place that he has prepared for you and for me.
Is it possible that you have a connection with God since you were born? Like it or not, God breathed into your nostril’s the breath of life and you became a living soul. “Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” “Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” Friends since you have experienced the miracle of Birth, and the miracle of God that gave to you life and breath, it is certain that you should think and realize that you have a connection to God. Don’t forget that you were created in the image and likeness of God, so since your connected to God, you need to recognize God. And thank Him for giving you the breath of life which makes you a living soul. You are a new creation, and because you belong to God it is His plan to help you to serve him for the rest of your life. In exchange for all of the good things that you have and possess. Always remember only spiritual things have that eternal connection. Earthly materials are all temporal. Don’t trust in your riches and possessions to help you make it through life, for they are all temporal, look at what Job lost, look at what your parents lost if they are gone, and look at what you will loose when you are gone. Let us think about the spiritual side of life. Let us worship our creator, our life giver, protector, guide, director, and best friend. Let us learn to Love like He does and live like He wants us to live. Let us lay everything else aside and pursue our spiritual side for the rest of our God given time here on this earth. Let us worship and praise him in preparation for eternity. Let us prepare for the time when our coarse of life is over, and we go back to God who created us in the first place, and there we will be judged weather we were a good Stuart of our lives or weather we were uninterested or unconcerned about our conduct and character in true representation of our creator.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I still have not located a job, that I can handle, and my unemployment runs out at the beginning of February. I will preach or teach as the Lord opens the doors. I am considering a few preaching opportunities, but I don’t have anything definite yet.
I felt lead of the Lord to start a website to begin promoting the most neglected thing in many Christians’ lives – prayer. Prayer that is effectual, fervent, and righteous. The kind of prayer that gets answers, that draws us all closer to God, and brings us into an intimate fellowship with Him.
We read in James 5:16 “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” I have already started this project and will continue doing so throughout the years to come as I am able to. I believe that righteous praying brings us closer together; it helps us to focus on the promises of God that are so often overlooked; it rouses us to take a stand against sin, weakness, indifference, and anything that prevents us from experiencing the love of God within our inner-being.
What does it mean to love like Jesus did - to pray like Jesus prayed? What does it mean to die to one’s self and to be anointed with the Holy Spirit? These are the questions that we want to explore and teach or preach about as God reveals it to us through His Holy Scriptures and prayer.
It is not only the preachers who need God’s anointing, but also the entire church, in order to live right.
Please use the following link to read about my thoughts on prayer life or to contact me for a church service. Your comments and thoughts would certainly be appreciated.

In my home area, I would be happy to come and share about praying in a church or with a home group even if it is only 2 or 3 people.
My resume is on the website, as well as a list of things we need to pray about on a daily basis.

Thank you for joining with me in revealing to people the value and importance of prayer.

As I got awake during the night, and when I woke up this morning, this thought was on my mind, did you think to pray? If we check ourselves, the labor and passion to pray is missing from most people’s lives. We would rather do something other than discipline ourselves to go to our secret closet to pray. One of the reasons for this neglect is we have very little influence from God, simply because we are negligent on our connection to God. We would rather play a game, or read a book, or watch TV, instead of humbling ourselves, and entering into the very presence of God. We have a tendency to be drawn away from God and prayer, and a real big tendency to live in the flesh. We seem to not be able to spend the hours in prayer like the Saints of God did before us did. Here we must ask ourselves Why? Why? Why? Is it true that many professors of Christianity are no longer humble? Is it true that many have never had their Pentecostal experience? Is it true that many of our modern day church leadership is depending upon the prayers of others? I hope not. It is proper for the church to pray for it’s leadership, but it is not proper for the leadership to depend only on their prayers alone. The leadership has a tremendous load to carry, and thus it is quite important that we, as the leaders of the church, carry the burden of prayer in us and on us so we will not be negligent in our duties. Brothers and Sisters, we need to be able to transfer our passions to the church, so the church will see her need of effectual, fervent, righteous praying, that avails much. 1 Thess 5:17 Pray without ceasing. We realize we cannot always be on our knees, but we can show a Christ like character and Spirit continuously day in and day out. Let us really catch the vision that the lack of prayer is what is killing the church, compromise, worldliness, impotency, ineffectiveness, no power to bring forth. It is time to repent!!!!!!!!!!!

To whom it may concern,
I graduated from the Tamaqua Area High School in 1965.
I gave my Heart and life to the Lord Jesus Christ on September 21, 1971. Shortly after that, God called me to preach the Gospel. I started preaching locally in the year of 1972. Later, I received a call to preach at one of the Wesleyan Bible Holiness Churches in Hyndman, Pa where I spent 2 years.
I was then called to preach at the Mount Zion Interdenominational Church in East Stroudsburg, Pa. I spent 7 years there starting in June of 1974. It is there that I became an Ordained Minister, on May 21, 1978. I initiated Mount Zion Christian Academy, a Christian Day school, with approximately 24 students. I was the Principal, with 2 other teachers assisting.
In the spring of 1981. I received a call to go to Jamaica as a missionary. After soul searching and seeking God’s will for my life, He whispered to me while I was praying, “Pursue the open door.” In 1981, we packed up everything we thought we would need to spend a few years on the mission field. God blessed us for obeying Him. We lived by faith for nearly 4 years in Jamaica. While there, we oversaw VBS classes with as many as 144 children at one time. We returned from Jamaica in June 1985.
We started renting a small local church where they only had Sunday morning services. We had an afternoon service and an evening service, we continued to do until the fall of 1989. We then approached them to see if they were interested in selling the Church. They told me that they would let me know, and approximately 2 weeks later they said they would sell. I than oversaw and managed the beginning of Overcomers Holiness Church Inc. I was also Ordained as an elder with the Wesleyan Bible Holiness Church on June 27, 1987. I am now the assistant pastor of Overcomers Holiness Church.
FUFILLING GOD’S PLAN
All the time that I was preaching I had to have another job to supply for my family. In July of this year, I was forced into retirement because they were down-sizing. I still need a few more years of work, which is why I am looking for a pastor’s position or to fill in as a supply pastor wherever the Lord leads me. If you have any more questions you may e-mail me or call me. email@example.com cell #570-778-6709.
In the Master’s service,
Rev. Russell Snyder
I believe in God the father, and Jesus Christ his Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe that He created the Heavens and the earth, and that He is the central part of his entire creation, and that He is in charge of the entire universe.
I am the assistant pastor of the Overcomers Holiness Church

Salvation by faith, a personal living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, (the need of personal anointing and unction,) and the value and importance of the lost art of prayer will be the main topics; plus, the importance of obedience to God and His Word..
As the Lord leads, we will take and schedule revival meetings, weekend meetings, family meetings, and personal meetings, wherever the Lord leads us in his field of service. I am open for scheduling now. We will be praying that the Lord opens the door where ever he call us to His service. Pass the word along if you know someone that is interested in some services and in catching up on some of the praying that is long overdue. We will also fill in wherever the Lord opens the door to do so: pastor on vacation, just needing a break, or sick with cold or flu, give us a call. 570-778-6709
Instead of reciting the Lords prayer, we can teach you how to pray the Lords prayer, and to go deeper in the depth of prayer by praying in the Spirit, that is effective, fervent, righteous, and Godly.
Right now we have all open dates, and are waiting on the Lord to fill the dates with your calls.
JESUS IS COMMING SOON. Get yourself ready for His coming in the clouds to lift out the Children of God!!!!
IS IT POSSABLE TO BE BORN OF THE SPIRIT TODAY? (ASK ME HOW) THE ANSWER IS YES
Read Psalms 51 (read a song from your song book.)
How to get ready to pray. The first step is humility, and recognition of whom God is and to whom we are praying to.
We come before the throne of grace in the precious and lovely name of Jesus the dear Son of God. We also pray with thankful and grateful hearts, for all the provisions you have provided for us. We are thankful for the way of salvation, and the provisions of the Blood of Jesus Christ. We are thankful for life and breath, for health and strength, for the grace and mercy of God, and for the provision of Calvary, to save us from our sins, and to cleanse us from sin’s possession. Lord Jesus, help us to continually pray through on a daily basis, knowing that you have heard and will answer our petitions. Help us to continually believe and pray by faith that the Lord will hear and answer as we pray according to his will. Let us be known as the men and women who get answers to their prayers, because we exercise our faith, and we believe what we pray for and what we pray about. Matt 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Help us to share the vision and the passion of prayer, by asking Him, “Lord Jesus, what can I do for you today?”
Please help me to know what and how to help you today. Help me to be a blessing to you as you are to me. Help me to be a blessing to all of those around me. Help me to fulfill your needs and desires and ambitions today. Let my prayers be made with the right intension and desire to fulfill God’s will and plans in our lives today. And let our churches be known as the house of prayer - a place where the sick can come and be healed - where they can find answers to their question’s, and have answers to their prayers. Luke 11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples. Matt 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done IN earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. If we will put this prayer into practice, our faith will excel, and we will be guaranteed answers.
Help me to always pray according to and in the will of God. Help me to have heart felt prayers, the kind that move's the heart of God. Teach me how to pray for my own personal needs, even that which I do not see or know about myself. Open my eyes to see myself as you see me. I ask for your divine intervention wherever it is necessary.
Oh God, keep me from sinning today. Let the Holy Spirit influence all my choices and decisions today. Please keep me in the direct will of God.
I certainly acknowledge my need of your anointing - that inner moving of God’s Spirit within me. Let there be within me the Spirit of wisdom, judgment, knowledge, understanding, and counsel.
Let there be within my heart the direct fear (revere) of God. Help me to spread the Word of God by giving me boldness. Increase and purify my faith that it might excel. Make me a wise soul winner; and help me to help people really find God.
Give me favor with whomever I come into contact. Help me to realize that they all are my neighbors.
Let the world see Jesus in me. Let my heart be filled with the compassion of God so I can help others that are lost, move towards God.
Help me to gain insight into the height and depth of the Word of God. Increase my understanding of the Word of God, and let it be written afresh and anew on the very tables of my heart. Help me to hold on to all the truths about which I have ever preached; and help me to cling to the truths that I have heard others preach about. Endow us with the knowledge of the Word, that we might live thereby.
Teach me how to pray more effectively, and let my soul be filled with the Holiness of God. Grant us a baptismal measure of the Holy Spirit, a real Pentecostal experience. Make me wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove; and let there be a real passion in my soul for real revival. Cleanse me from all impurities, forgive me of any and all failures, short comings, weaknesses, coldness, indifference, and transgression of any kind. Cleanse me from any secret faults, and let there be no sin found in us, or named among us.
Purge my heart to make it purer, purge my mind, my life, and my being, purify the very being of my soul. Let there be a total death to the life of the flesh, and the life of self, and others, and to the old man of sin.
Help me to crucify my flesh, and be dead to the life of self, (dying to the fleshly appetites)
Help me to be the husband I need to be. Help me to be the wife I need to be. Help me to be the father I need to be. Help me to be the son, or daughter I need to be. Help me to be the brother or sister I need to be. Help me to be the grandfather or grandmother I need to be. Help me to be the best I can be in all of my life and living. Help me to be a real cousin, nephew, or niece.
Help me to own up to all of the responsibilities I need to, in order to be a real Christian. Help me to be a friend to everyone. Give me favor with those that I might have offended, that I might be able to win them for the Lord Jesus Christ. Help me to abide in the vine, so I will become more spiritual, and more fruitful, and full of God’s Spirit. Help me to be that useful vessel for your service.
Help me to daily seek thy will, and let there be acts, signs, and wonders, wrought among us daily.
Let there be within my soul a deep hunger and thirst after righteousness. Help me to be as Holy as you meant when you said be ye holy. Help me to be as perfect as you meant when you said be ye therefore perfect as your father in heaven is Perfect. 1 Peter 1:16 “Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” Matt 5:48 “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”
Help me to be pure as thou art pure. Help me to be as humble as thou art humble. Help me not to be offended at thy word, and touch and help my “want to”, for I (we) are only as spiritual as I (we) want to be!!!!!
Continue to grant thy hand of protection, health, and strength to be upon us, by hedging us in. Move upon wherever we need to be moved upon.
I give you the right to my life, I present to you all of the controls, in order to become the hands, feet, eyes, ears, and the mouth of and for the Lord Jesus Christ. Let Jesus be seen in all of our life and living. Help us to keep up with all of the thanks and praise that I owe.
The things I don’t think about right now, please allow the Holy Spirit to come and make divine intervention in my life in every way.
Pray for every loved one and friend by name, mother, father, wife, husband, brothers and sisters, children, sons and daughter in-laws, grandchildren, great grandchildren, even those not born yet. Pray for your brothers and sisters in church. Pray for those that have drifted. Pray for all of the missionaries you know, and all of the pastors, and all of the evangelists, even those you don’t know: those in government leadership, those who will leave this world today, those left behind grieving, and those that are sick and afflicted. Travail until revival comes.
Pray for anyone or anything that you feel led to pray about. Help us to be completely conjoined to God’s will and his plan.
Lord Jesus save every one of our loved ones and friends. Save us from ourselves, save us from our sins, save us from our enemies. Sanctify us, cleanse us, purge us, purify us, protect us, and please make us hungrier and thirstier for more of God.
Oh, God, avenge of us our adversary. Curse Satan anew. Shut his mouth. Bind him; and render him powerless in our lives. Defeat and destroy his manipulations. Reprove and rebuke him with all authority and righteousness. Bring the enemy to an open shame. Expose all of his vileness and ugliness; and bring all of his plans to naught. Make us victorious over every trick he has planned against us. Oh, God, we conjoin our will with your will that you might reprove and rebuke the enemy and bring his plans to naught.
Oh, Lord, let your precious blood answer to whatever comes from the enemy of our soul, and make him give back to us all those that he has stolen from us. ( loved ones, children, friends, some right from the church,) God help us to learn and continually practice praying in the Spirit - conjoining our wills with God’s will - where we learn to travail with groanings which we have no words for!!!!!!!
Add anything that you feel impressed to pray about, but above all else you must give yourself to the most important Christian duty that you have, find or make yourself a secret closet of prayer, if not you will never accomplish everything that you could have accomplished for Jesus. He is waiting to give you further instructions, learn to pray in the Spirit and wait on his answers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
